Our little sweet pea LOVES to hang out by the pool with us! We don't let him in just yet, but we can't wait to get him in the water with us in a few weeks! His most favorite thing now is dipping his feet in the water though!...those are allowed in occasionally!

Grandbunny came and spent a few days while I had to go to some BORING inservices for school. This Sweet Pea loves his Grandbunny time!

Shots

Well, my friends we survived our first round of shots on Tuesday...whew! Sweet Pea had two sticks in one leg, one in the other leg and he had one oral vaccine...note the Snoopy band aid on that sweet little thigh! This is what we did when we got home...zzzzz... shots wear us out! ...and make us a little on the fussy side! All of which required a little extra TLC!

Sweet Pea is in the 50th percentile in everything as of now. Here are our two month stats!

• Weight: 11.13 pounds
• 23 inches long
• He's grasping fingers well
• He's starting to smile more
• He loves to coo and "talk" himself to sleep now...soooo cute!
• He loves to go outside and stare at the sky, tree tops and listen to the wind chime.
• He hates tummy time unless mommy or daddy are holding him...he does ok on the boppy...floor not so much! He is able to hold his head up though for a little while and shows excitement when he does!
• He's still not sleeping through the night...ha! any tricks out there?!...anyone?!..any tips on getting sweet babies on any kind of a schedule?!
• We're now on formula #3..a soy one this time, we're praying that this will help this poor baby's tummy issues as they are so not fun!
• He loves to take naps on anyone who is willing to let him do so!

I will admit, I am a sucker for this, he's just so sweet!

2 months!

This was exactly two months ago...( well, as of yesterday!)
...and here we are today! Oh my goodness, my little Sweet Pea is getting big and growing fast!
We are so in love with this little boy!

Sweet Pea LOVES his bouncer, especially if it's on it's soothing vibrating setting....other members of this family like it too!!!! Yes, he was sleeping on it!

We go for our 2 month check up and shots tomorrow! Wish us luck!...this mommy is not looking forward to it!...at least the shots!

What's up guys?

Sweet Pea is 8 weeks old today and look at him trying to hold his head up!!! He's now able to hold his head up for more than a few seconds and boy does he like looking around at this new angle!

We had a play date yesterday with Bradley! Sweet Pea is practicing his John Travolta moves here!

Week #7....!

We went to a wedding this weekend so naturally we had to take a family picture! Sweet Pea didn't get to go, he got to stay home with Grandbunny instead!

He is 7 weeks old this week and I can hardly believe it! He's keeping us on our toes, that is for sure! He's really starting to try to hold his head up on his own and his favorite book right now is The Very Hungry Caterpillar! He LOVES the pictures in it! We try to read at least one book a day!

...We get bored sometimes during the day and take some self portraits! Ha!
