I went home last weekend and my mom and I hosted a kitchen shower for my good friend, Jenny. I am SOOO sad that I won't be able to attend her wedding, but I'm excited that we are both going to be having very exciting things happening in our lives at the same time. Her wedding is about a week before we're due, so I won't be able to travel to attend. Jenny was my big-sis when we were in high school and on drill team together. Her sister and I graduated together and we've all stayed very close friends! They're just like real sisters to me!

We got our first gift for this weekend's shower last week! It actually came from Jenny and her hubby to be, Chris! They were so sweet and got us an infant head support for our stroller and a changing pad cover. In baby news...I went to my weekly appointment today and our little sweet pea now weighs 4.6 pounds and is in the 67% ranking in his size! WOW! At this rate, we are going to be BIG!!! Everything looks good as of now. They also did a non stress test to monitor his heart rate and movements. So far they say my sugar levels are looking excellent...whew! ... They even added some more food to my little diet!!! Thank goodness because I've been starving, this little guy is taking up everything I'm eating!
