Fall is here and I am soo excited about the cooler weather coming...hopefully soon! Speaking of coming soon, my brother's wedding will be here VERY soon!!!! I can't wait to see how everything turns out. I picked up my dress last weekend when we went up for a shower. They got some good stuff! Just a few more weeks to go now!
My brother and his fiance have a new addition to their family, her name is Molly and she is SO cute! She is a miniature boston terrier. Check out these pictures...(I think I need one of these, although my mom found a teacup version online, I bet those are REALLY cute as well!)

Happy Labor Day!!!
We had a very busy Labor Day weekend and...I had a pretty eventful 29th b-day! Friday we went to see Clay Walker, of course my all time favorite singer! It was also my father in law's birthday, so the family all went as well! I'm not sure who kept them more entertained...me or Clay!
My mom made me one AWESOME birthday "cake." It was actually a cake pop bouquet! (See the pictures below!) She worked so hard on it and was it not only absolutely adorable, but is was really yummy as well!!! Leave it to my mom to think of something ultra cute like that for a birthday cake! (She also baked some really yummy cupcakes as well!)
The real excitement came on Monday...we decided to go tubing. Just as we were all settled in our tubes, we saw two boys struggling in the center of the river. They were bobbing up and down and it became clear that they couldn't swim....so in came the Borgfeld's to the rescue! The Mr. pulled each of the boys out of the water and we got them settled onto our tubes and just as we got them settled, their mother realized what was going (go figure she wasn't paying attention to them to start with) on and then also jumped in. She decided to join one of her boys on my tube and well you can imagine how heavy my tube became. The Mr. ended up getting out of his tube and pulling both tubes and everyone on them to the bank of the river. The boys and their mother got off and thanked us and we were off to enjoy the rest of our float. Thank goodness the rest of the trip was uneventful from that stand point! So, we can now add "saved a life" to our list of accomplishments! (or at least prevented a near drowning!)
The rest of the afternoon, we spent at our pool, relaxing with Andrea and Emilio and eating out with them! (Thanks you guys!) :-)

This weekend we went to my mom's and finished up her countertops! They turned out great...at least we think so! I should have gotten a better picture of the whole kitchen for a better "finished product" view...this will give you an idea though of what it looks like! Anyone need their countertops done now????

This weekend we went to my mom's and started her countertops! He took over this task and did an awsome job so far! I will have to post pics once we get them all finished up...so far so good though!

Our Anniversary Weekend!!!
Monday was our anniversary....awww, one year already!!! My brother came down with his fiance and her family. We tubed the river...that was a trip! We were on the river for an entire 7 hours! What was supposed to be a nice relaxing day on the river turned into one long rough day on the river! We survived the first few rapids and on the second to last one, both of us flipped out of our tubes, his back got all scratched up from ridding down on his back and when he came up, his wedding ring was gone!!! Yes, gone, sucked off by the river! We were SO upset! Even more so because we always take our rings off when in any kind of water except for this day...go figure! We were thankful though that he didn't get really hurt going down like that because it could have been really bad! Once we got over that, it came time for the last rapids,I've never been more excited to get off the river before and then bam, I hit a huge rock so hard, it nailed me right in the rear! OOOOO the pain! Atleast it was at the very end of the trip, so we were able to get out of the river right after that. It may have been a rough trip, but we still had a good time! That was Saturday....
Sunday we went to lunch with my brother and his fiance and then to a little shop downtown that I love! After that we just hung around and got the house ready for our new furniture to be delivered on Monday. We went out to eat with his family that evening, so that was nice.
Monday...our first anniversary!!!! Hubby had a dentist appointment in the morning...fun! (not really!) We then picked up a pizza and waited for the furniture to get delivered, once that was done we put the house back together and then decided to tube the other river in town...much better experience this time! Then it was off to dinner! We had a nice dinner and then rented a movie and cut into our wedding cake! To our surprise, it was actually still moist and fresh tasting!!! We were excited about that!
So, that was our first anniversary weekend! Lots of excitement! Until next time....

Viva Las Vegas
We went to Las Vegas in June, for his birthday! We didn't have much luck, but we had a great time!
So, I thought I'd try the whole blog thing out. We're required to have one at school and I know of some other friends who have started up personal ones and I thought what the heck...why not...so here we go!
This past year has gone by so fast! I can't believe wewill be married for a year, next Monday! Wow! Time flies when you're having fun!
In the last year, we've done a lot of around our house, fixing things up here and there and all that fun stuff. The last big thing we did was our counter tops in the kitchen! He did them all by himself, they turned out awsome!!! I was so proud of his hard work...yes, I helped some too!
Our big adventure for this summer was our trip to Las Vegas, we'll just say we don't loose money well! We had a great time anyway! Corby, Brandon, Andrea and Emilio went along. This was his Valentine's gift from me.We stayed at Treasure Island, saw a show and did A LOT of walking around and site seeing! Good times!
